NFL Best Bets for Week 7
Well, it's not the best week for us in Week 6. After four straight weeks of strong plays, Week 7 is one to move on from. Let’s get back at it with our best bets for Week 7 of the National Football League.
New Orleans Saints -1 over Jacksonville Jaguars
The question marks surrounding Trevor Lawrence are enough here. They mention Lawrence may not have that big of an injury, but any type of injury before a short week is a big concern.
Plus, this game is in New Orleans, and when the fans are rocking, there may not be a better home-field advantage in the league.
Look for Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, and Michael Thomas to provide enough offense to win this game. Take the Saints at home on Thursday Night Football!
Cleveland Browns -2.5 over Indianapolis Colts
The Cleveland Browns showed they are ready to compete and compete at the highest level. The Browns beat the San Francisco 49ers to give them their first loss of the 2023 season.
Cleveland used PJ Walker as their starting quarterback in this game. The status of Deshaun Watson is unknown, but knowing it will be Gardner Minshew for the Colts is enough to like the Browns' defense again in this one.
Take Cleveland at -2.5 on the road on Sunday.
Buffalo Bills -8.5 over New England Patriots
The Buffalo Bills certainly did not play their best football, but they got away with it and won the game on Sunday Night Football. Now, they get another one of the worst teams in the league.
What are the Patriots going to do? For now, they are just losing. Mac Jones is not getting the job done under center. New England is not doing anything well on the offensive side of the ball.
Look for Buffalo to get after Jones in this game and force a few more turnovers. Buffalo gets their offense going and should win this game by double digits.
Las Vegas Raiders -3 over Chicago Bears
While the Raiders are without their starting quarterback, it looks like the Chicago Bears could be as well.
The status of Justin Fields is still up in the air, but a hand injury to a quarterback is never a good thing. Fields played well in Week 5 against Washington but was not good before he was removed from the game against Minnesota.
The Raiders' defense has gotten better, and with Josh Jacobs and Devante Adams, they have more than enough to take down the Bears. Bet the Raiders over the Bears on Sunday in the National Football League.
Los Angeles Rams -3 over Pittsburgh Steelers
Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp have found their early connection. Now, Stafford has Kupp and Nacua to throw to at nearly any point on the field. While the Rams could be without their top running back, Kyren Williams, they will provide fits for Pittsburgh and their passing defense.
For the Steelers, Kenny Pickett is going to go up against a Rams defense that has played pretty strong to start the season. The Rams are going to put pressure on the young signal caller and look to cause him fits all over the field.
This game is played at SoFi Stadium, where the Rams should win this one by more than a field goal.
Philadelphia Eagles -2 over Miami Dolphins
Two of the best teams in the National Football League are getting together. This game is the Sunday Night Football game, where the Eagles are going to have a wild crowd. This game is also during Major League Baseball playoff week, as the Phillies are looking to wrap up a National League Championship for the second straight week.
There is no doubt the loud, rowdy fans of Philadelphia, along with the cool Philadelphia weather, will play a factor in this game. The Eagles are going to come up with a plan to slow down Tyreke Hill and should keep Raheem Mostert under control.
Jalen Hurts threw three interceptions a week ago, and we expect him to be better in this game at home. Taking the Eagles at home is the bet to make in this game.
Others in Consideration
Detroit Lions +3 at Baltimore Ravens
Seattle Seahawks -8 over Arizona Cardinals
San Francisco 49ers -6.5 over Minnesota Vikings
Have a great week. Let’s get some wins. Enjoy the games, and best of luck with all your National Football League bets!
