NFL Best Bets Week 14
The National Football League moves to Week 14. Just five weeks left of the 2023 regular season. It was another fantastic week of games. More injuries that change how the teams look, and what they will look like going forward. But, no time to pout. It’s time to take a look at our NFL Week 14 Betting Picks!
Pittsburgh Steelers -5 over New England Patriots
This is going to be Mitchell Trubisky against Bailey Zappe. Two really poor backup quarterbacks. Trubisky came in last week, and could not get the Steelers offense moving enough to beat Arizona. Good news for them - the Patriots are next level bad. Like will not win another game badly. Finish the season with two wins. The Steelers are going to get a nice break in the schedule and pick up their 8th win. Not only will they win, they will cover. The Steelers by a touchdown on Thursday Night Football.
Baltimore Ravens -7 over Los Angeles Rams
This is a tough spot for the Rams. The Ravens are coming into this game coming off a bye. Baltimore got to see the Rams play last week, and will be ready for any and everything they throw at them. Lamar Jackson does not have Mark Andrews, but he has plenty of weapons to torch the Rams defense. Baltimore wins this game by more than a touchdown, and basically puts the rest of the AFC North teams on life support. Baltimore -7!
Detroit Lions -3 at Chicago Bears
These two teams just met in late November, and the Bears have chances to win the game. Then, the next week, the Bears beat the Vikings. So, this Chicago team is one that is worth watching as a spoiler team. They do not have to tank, because Carolina’s pick belongs to them. Justin Fields wants to prove he is the guy going forward. The problem is - the Lions are still really good. The Lions can run the football. The Lions can pass the football. The Lions will play good defense. If Detroit does not turn the ball over, they are going to score as they want. Take the Lions 34-20 over the Bears on Sunday in a high-scoring affair. Detroit -3!
Houston Texans -6.5 at New York Jets
The New England Patriots are about the only team right now that seem to be quitting on the season harder than the New York Jets. Now, CJ Stroud and his high flying Houston offense get to take a crack at them. The Jets defense is solid, but a little overhyped. They can’t score, so they basically have to shut Houston out. That will not happen. Stroud with another nice day, despite losing Tank Dell for the remainder of the season. Houston scores enough and covers this 6.5 point spread. Houston wins the game 24-13 over the Jets.
Buffalo Bills +2.5 at Kansas City Chiefs
One of the best games of the season right here. Two teams that had high hopes of taking not only the AFC, but the Super Bowl down. One team appears to be heading to the postseason, while the other is on life support. But, the Buffalo Bills with their backs to the wall are going to play great football. Kansas City has shown several times over the last couple weeks that they are struggling to score. The defense has been good, but it can be scored on. If Josh Allen can take care of the football, Buffalo can go on the road and win. That’s what our bet will be. Take the Buffalo Bills +2.5 over the Kansas City Chiefs in a huge Week 14 battle!
Others in Consideration:
-
Dallas Cowboys -3.5 over Philadelphia Eagles - Not going to bet it. Too good of a game. Too good to ignore. But, the Cowboys seem ready.
-
Green Bay Packers -6.5 at New York Giants - No one hotter than Green Bay right now. Jordan Love is scorching. The Giants can’t stop them.
-
Miami Dolphins -14 over Tennessee Titans - Blowout city. Does any team have anywhere near as many blowouts as the Dolphins?
There they are. Our favorite games for Week 14 in the National Football League. We hope you enjoy watching backup quarterbacks as much as we do. Let’s enjoy the games, win some bets and get back at the book. We will be back here next week for Week 15 of the season. Also, keep in mind, the schedule is a little quirky this week, as there is a doubleheader of Monday Night Football action. Plenty of football to watch!
