San Francisco 49ers -6 at Cleveland Browns
No one looked better than the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. The Sunday Night Football blowout win over Dallas has NFL fans all over on notice, if they were not already.
Brock Purdy continues to put the ball into his rceivers hands, and Christian McCaffrey is about as tough as they come. He has scored in 14 straight games. There is no reason to expect the Browns to keep him out of the end zone. Sure, Cleveland is pretty good on the defensive side, but the 49ers just find ways to move the ball, and score.
The 49ers win this game by a touchdown or more on Sunday on the road.
Miami Dolphins -13.5 over Carolina Panthers
How are the Panthers going to keep up with the Dolphins? The likely answer is - they are not. While the Dolphins will be without Devon Achane in this game, and potential for a few weeks, this team still has way too much firepower for Carolina.
The Panthers are dying to find a win somewhere on the schedule, but this game is not it. The Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young is still trying to figure it out, and Carolina is getting almost zero in the run game.
Ugly combination, as the Dolphins win by 20+.
Jacksonville Jaguars -4 over Indianapolis Colts
Impressive to see the Jaguars go to London, stay a week in London, and come away with a second win. This time, it was over the Buffalo Bills, one of the favorites out of the AFC. Doug Pederson and Trevor Lawrence have a good connection, and we expect that to lead right into this game.
No Anthony Richardson for the Colts, so it’s Gardner Minshew’s team. The Jaguars won the first meeting, and we expect a season sweep here. Taking the Jaguars at home over the Colts, despite the 4, is the move to make.
Chicago Bears +3 over Minnesota Vikings
No Justin Jefferson for the Minnesota Vikings is a big problem. Jefferson is a massive part of that offense, and they just have not got the run game going like they would have hoped.
Justin Fields has a ton of positive momentum following their win over the Commanders last week. Look for Fields and Moore to hook up again several times, and with this game in Chicago, the Bears are the team to take here.
A moneyline candidate, but taking the Chicago Bears at +3 is the choice to make here.
Buffalo Bills -14 over New York Giants
Josh Allen and the Bills are coming off a frustrating loss in London to Jacksonville. This team has consistently shown the ability to bounce back and, many times, do it hugely.
The Giants are the Walking Dead. They just do not seem to have anything going in their favor, and we are not sure things will change in this one.
The bad news for the Giants is that it is another primetime game. The Bills will want to make quick and easy work, and they will. Buffalo wins this one big over the Giants.
Los Angeles Chargers +3 over Dallas Cowboys
The Monday Night Football affair. The Chargers took the week off, but before that, they started to play some better football. Austin Ekeler is returning, and the question is, are the Cowboys even that good? Dallas has not beaten anyone worth bragging about. Sure, they look great in their first two wins over the Giants and Jets, but those are two of the worst offensive teams in the league.
The other win was over the Patriots, who are in the same boat. The Chargers will be determined to grab a win at home, and that’s who we like. Will take the +3, but do not be afraid to moneyline this game.
Others to Consider
- Atlanta Falcons -2.5 over Washington Commanders
- Detroit Lions -3 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Las Vegas Raiders -3 over New England Patriots
We hope you enjoy the week of games, and best of luck with all your betting on the National Football League!
