Wednesday MLB Free Betting Parlay
It’s time to focus on the Wednesday slate of MLB action and look at building the perfect parlay. With a large selection of games to choose from, picking out the top four options to include in a parlay should not be that difficult. Of course, baseball is one of the most unpredictable matchups, but these four betting picks feel pretty safe. Here are the four picks to include in your MLB parlay with an explanation as to why each is chosen.
Quick Links
Cleveland Indians -111 vs. Chicago Cubs
Things get started pretty early on Wednesday as it is the getaway day for several teams. This means that Wednesday afternoon baseball will be taking place, and one of the top betting picks actually comes from one of these matchups. The Cleveland Indians are hosting the Chicago Cubs, and it was the home team that won the series opener by a score of 3-2. Both teams are still looking to get things going this season, and that makes for a pretty even matchup.
This pitching matchup does not feature any of the top pitchers on either team, and that could lead to a big offensive game. The problem is that both teams have really struggled to hit this season, and that’s not going to improve on Wednesday. Chicago is dealing with a number of injuries at this time, and Kris Bryant left the game early on Tuesday night. It’s hard to see the Cubs doing much damage on offense, and that will allow Cleveland to take control.
Start off your parlay by taking the Indians -111 over the Cubs.
Cincinnati Reds -157 at Pittsburgh Pirates
The next game to focus on when building this MLB parlay is an NL Central matchup between the Reds and the Pirates. These teams have split the first two games of the series, and neither has been very close.
Sonny Gray makes a start for the Reds on Wednesday, and he is still looking for his first win. Gray is one of the top pitchers in baseball, but he is just 0-2 with a 3.92 ERA in 2021. The Pirates will counter with veteran Trevor Cahill, and he has really struggled to be effective this season. Pittsburgh is going to need to score plenty of runs to win this game, and that is not something that they do very well.
Cincinnati does not have any trouble scoring runs as they are one of the highest-scoring teams in baseball. That offense was quiet on Tuesday night but should put up a big number on Wednesday afternoon.
Take the Reds -157 as the safe play for your parlay, or take them -1.5 if you are looking to increase the potential payout.
Milwaukee Brewers -145 vs. St. Louis Cardinals
The top two teams in the NL Central Division are meeting up in Milwaukee this week, and the series opener went into extra innings. There just isn’t much separation between the teams, and this race should go down to the wire. Milwaukee does have a clear advantage on Wednesday evening as they have their ace going on the mound. Brandon Woodruff 2-1 with a 1.73 ERA, and he has some dominating stuff.
John Gant will start for the Cardinals, and he has an ERA of under three as well. Gant will be facing a Brewers lineup that has struggled to score runs at times this season, and he could put up a low number. The Cardinals have a terrific top of their batting order, but there are still some holes that need to be fixed. St. Louis is going to have to square some balls up if they want to do some damage against Woodruff.
Even though the Brewers just continue to struggle on offense, they won’t need to score much to give Woodruff a chance to win this game. Milwaukee finds a way to win on Wednesday night, and taking them at -145 is a great addition to the parlay.
Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 vs. Seattle Mariners
The final game to include in your MLB betting parlay is the final game on the schedule on Wednesday night. The Los Angeles Dodgers are big money line favorites over the Seattle Mariners, but there is a better betting option with this matchup.
Los Angeles will have Julio Urias on the mound on Wednesday night, and he has gone 4-1 with a 3.59 ERA to begin the season. He will be opposed by Justin Dunn of the Mariners, and this will be a clear edge for the Dodgers. Things have not gone well for the Dodgers of late, but this team has the ability to turn things around at any moment. Playing at home should help them straighten some things out, and this is going to be a big night for the offense.
Seattle has been better than advertised this season, but they can’t keep up with the Dodgers. Take Los Angeles -1.5 over Seattle in this interleague matchup.
