It’s tough to take down the defending Super Bowl Champions. In this case, it is not going to happen. The Baltimore Ravens have been the best team in the AFC all season, and Kansas City went through some big time issues all season. So, it does not make a ton of sense to pick the Chiefs, right? Well, Mahomes' magic appears to be back, and his connection with Travis Kelce is one of a kind. They are the new leader in quarterback to receiver postseason touchdowns.
Baltimore has been good defensively, but this is going to be quite a challenge for them. Lamar Jackson is going to win the MVP award, but you have to think there still is a big time turnover coming somewhere in his game. A timely turnover is what cost the Ravens in this one. A great game in Baltimore, but the Chiefs win the game and head back to the Super Bowl for the fourth time.

Two teams that were really solid on the defensive side this season. Both teams do not get enough credit for their defense. The attention goes to Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. But, this is the AFC title game, and the quarterbacks are going to get their chances to move the football. Both guys are going to make plays.
Both guys are going to take chances that will be boom or bust. Enough boom in this game, and they both get to 24+ points. Our final score prediction for this game is the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-24, therefore we are going to go with the OVER in this game.
San Francisco 49ers -7 over Detroit Lions
Deebo Samuel being questionable is a big deal for the San Francisco 49ers. That offense has a ton of weapons, but his ability to spread the field is a massive difference-maker. We feel he is going to find a way to play, and play just fine. That gives Christian McCaffrey even room to run. The Lions are a different team on the road than they are at home. Dan Campbell has done an outstanding job as the head coach of the Lions.
But, their 2023-2024 season comes to an end one game shy of the Super Bowl. Detroit has never been to the Super Bowl, and that continues here. Too much McCaffrey, and the 49ers defense turns Goff over a few times in the win. Take the 49ers despite being a touchdown favorite.
Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers; OVER 50.5
The gunslinger mentality can come out in an offense when they are trailing. We feel that is what is going to happen with the Detroit Lions. His passing numbers may be quite high by the time this game is said and done. We also feel Jared Goff is going to turn the ball over and give the 49ers more chances to score.
This game has the OVER, written all over it. There is way too much talent on the field on the offensive side to keep this game UNDER. Our final score prediction for the NFC title game is the San Francisco 49ers 34-24 over the Detroit Lions. Therefore, we are taking the OVER in this one.
