Best NBA Free Bets for Tuesday, March 1, 2022
The NBA season is winding down, but plenty of epic matchups are still left on the slate. Teams are beginning to make their push for the playoffs, and individuals are attempting to showcase their skills to win awards. This makes for some competitive basketball. If you are looking to bet on the NBA, you should take note of the Tuesday night slate. March Madness refers to college hoops, but there will be plenty of excitement in the NBA. Here are some of the best NBA games to bet for Tuesday night.

Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards
When looking at sportsbooks for the NBA, I always try to find small spreads for teams with big talent differences. This is exactly what we have in tonight’s Pistons vs. Wizards game. Detroit will travel to Washington to face the Wizards on Tuesday evening.
The Pistons have been very bad overall this season with a 15-46 record, but they have the ability to cover spreads. Nevertheless, the Wizards are a much better team that can pop off at any time.
The Wizards enter this game 12 wins better than Detroit. This is largely thanks to Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma started his career with the Lakers but has become a household name in the nation’s capital. He is averaging 17 PPG and shooting 45.6% from the floor. The Wizards are favored by 3.5 points in this game. Even though they have not been great against the spread this season, they are 15-16 at home in the win/loss column.
This may not be great, but it’s a lot better than the Pistons on the road in 2021-22. Detroit is 6-25 in away games this season, so it’s best to fade the team on Tuesday night. This is an excellent get-right game for the team, and I think Kuzma leads them to victory.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are back at home on Tuesday night, hosting the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks are an average team, and they match up great against the Celtics. Boston won nine straight games before the All-Star break but has been stagnant since returning.
The Celtics have the better team in this game in the win/loss column, ATS, and on paper. Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown lead Boston. Tatum and Brown are co-dominant, meaning one will take over, and the other will take a backseat role.
As of late, Tatum has been the player to take games over, and it’s working for the Celtics. Boston is favored by seven points on Tuesday, and most of the money is coming in on the Celtics. The one player to contain is Trae Young. The Celtics should have eyes on Young all night. He is having a tremendous season and coming off his second All-Star Game appearance. Based on him averaging 27.8 PPG, he will be playing in many more All-Star Games in the future.
If Tatum outplays Young, I like Boston to cover the spread at TD Garden on Tuesday evening.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors
The Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors will compete in back-to-back games. The first contest was on Saturday, and it went in favor of the Raptors. Toronto came out on fire and dominated the competition.
They were without OG Anunoby, but he is questionable for Tuesday. This will help them immensely if he returns to the action. The Raptors prevailed by a score of 133-97 in the first game of the series. I do not think they will win by 36 points on Tuesday, but I do expect them to cover. The Raptors are favored by 8.5 points, and they will be in their home arena. The Nets are going to struggle because they are without their stars.
The injured list for Brooklyn is growing, and it includes Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris, and Ben Simmons. This list of injured players is too big to overcome on Tuesday. I do not love betting teams in a back-to-back against the same team. However, I believe there is a lot of betting value in this spot for the Raptors.
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets
The Los Angeles Clippers have a huge advantage over the Houston Rockets. The Rockets have been struggling, but they are a young team. The Rockets are 15-45 and 24-35-1 ATS this season. Los Angeles is 32-31 and nearly identical ATS. The Clippers are -7, and 78% of the bets are coming in on this side of the line. The Clippers have a lot of injuries, but they have been winning games like crazy. This is a back-to-back game, and the Clippers survived against the Rockets on Saturday.
However, it’s more likely the Clippers will blow them off the floor on Tuesday. Best of luck betting on the games.
