Friday FREE MLB Parlay
Major League Baseball season is coming to an end, but there are still a few Fridays left for big parlays. There is no better day to win a parlay than Friday because it gets the weekend started on the right foot. There are countless series with betting value this weekend.
Here is our MLB parlay for September 17, 2021.
Colorado Rockies over the Washington Nationals
German Marquez will pitch for the Rockies in the first game of their series against the Nationals. Colorado’s game against Atlanta on Thursday was postponed, and Marquez was supposed to be on the bump.
This delay was great for bettors because Marquez’s value against the Nationals is much better than versus the Braves. Marquez is an All-Star who has the ability to deal.
He is 12-10 on the season with a 3.93 ERA over 167 innings. He has averaged one strikeout per inning. These stats are not overwhelming, but many of his starts have occurred at Coors Field, where balls fly out of the yard. Additionally, off-speed pitches have less break in Denver. This makes Marquez’s numbers a lot more impressive. The Rockies should take advantage of Josiah Gray, who is on the bump for the Nationals.
Gray came from the Dodgers at the deadline, and he has accumulated a 6.00 ERA in 48 innings with the team. The Rockies are 4-1 in their past five games, and the Nationals have not played well in their home ballpark.
This should be an easy decision to start your Friday parlay off on a winning note.
Toronto Blue Jays over the Minnesota Twins
Toronto is turning into a baseball town because the Blue Jays are on the verge of hosting the American League Wild Card game. The Blue Jays burst back into the playoff hunt after many people had written them off in 2021.
The team is one of the best in baseball in terms of offense. Their main problem in 2021 has been consistency. However, the team has seemed to fix this flaw, and they are rolling.
Friday should be an easy win for the Blue Jays with Hyun Jin Ryu on the hill. Ryu is 13-8 with a 4.11 ERA, but he has been the big game pitcher for the team throughout the year. Ryu will pitch against Michael Pineda, who has been good as well with a 3.87 ERA. Pineda is a strong pitcher, but the Blue Jays offense is surging. Toronto is 4-1 in their past five compared to the Twins, who have only won one game in this stretch.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is still in the race to win the American League MVP, so an excellent performance down the stretch could help his chances to dethrone Shohei Ohtani. Nevertheless, the Blue Jays want to win this game because they are in the driver’s seat for the American League Wild Card.
Boston Red Sox over the Baltimore Orioles
There is a chance Chris Sale pitches on Friday if he passes his COVID-19 tests. Whether Sale pitches or not, this is a game the Red Sox should dominate. Every parlay needs one guarantee, and this is the one that will add value in a safe manner. Sale will dominate the Orioles, and the combination of Boston’s offense against Keegan Akin should help the team cover. Akin is 2-9 with a 6.83 ERA over 85.2 innings.
Boston is 3-2 in their past five, but they will have success off Akin. Rafael Devers is leading the offensive charge, leading the unit in every power category. He has blasted 34 bombs with 103 RBI. Other players to watch include Bobby Dalbec, who was named the American League Rookie of the Month in August.
Also, Xander Bogaerts should play a large role in this series. The Red Sox back is against the wall as they are tired with the Blue Jays in the playoff race. They need to win this game, and there is no doubt about it with the Blue Jays’ momentum.
This is a lock in your Friday parlay.
Los Angeles Dodgers over the Cincinnati Reds
This is a massive series for the Reds and Dodgers, so expect it to be highly competitive. It also could be a possible National League Wild Card matchup. The Reds are one game back in the Wild Card, and the Dodgers are competing with the Giants for the National League West. Luis Castillo will pitch for the Reds, and they are at home. There is some value in betting on the Reds as a risk, but the obvious choice is to take the Dodgers on the money line.
Walker Buehler is on the hill for the Dodgers, and he is one of the best pitchers in the game. He was the Cy Young frontrunner before Max Scherzer stepped up in Los Angeles. Nevertheless, he should still dominate on Friday night.
