MLB Parlay Picks for Wednesday
MLB Parlay Picks
Wednesday in Major League Baseball marks the end of most three-game series before teams prepare for weekend action. This is perfect for bettors looking to place a winning parlay. We have plenty of examples from the past two days of how teams have been performing.
This is key for any successful wager. Here is my MLB Parlay for Wednesday, June 30, 3021.
Houston Astros Over the Baltimore Orioles
The Houston Astros have garnered the reputation of the best team in the American League. However, they have run into some trouble in the past few days against the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles have taken the first two games of the series from the Astros.
Baltimore won game one 9-7, and they took the second contest by a 13-3 margin. Houston is rarely blown out, which is one reason why they will bounce back on Wednesday. The Astros are too good to be swept by one of the worst teams in baseball. The pitching matchup on Wednesday favors the Astros offense and defense. Matt Harvey will pitch for the Orioles in game three.
It’s incredible Harvey still has a job in MLB. The pitcher is 3-9 with a 7.54 ERA. He has fanned 55 batters in 68 innings. If Houston cannot score runs off Harvey, they are not the best offense in baseball. Additionally, Luis Garcia will throw for the Astros. He has been sensational in 2021 and a surprise for the team. Garcia is 6-4 with a 2.83 ERA with 85 strikeouts. There will be a ton of homers hit in this contest, causing the game to go over and the Astros to win.
Boston Red Sox Over the Kansas City Royals
Is there a hotter team in baseball currently than the Boston Red Sox? I do not think this is possible with how well Boston has been playing as of late.
The Red Sox are 49-31 on the year and leading the American League East. They swept the Yankees this past weekend for the second time in 2021. Also, they have defeated the Royals in the first two games of this series. I expect Boston to keep the wins coming on Wednesday. Martin Perez will pitch against Mike Minor in the contest. Minor is 6-5 with a 5.12 ERA. He has better strikeout ability than Perez, but the Red Sox wing has more control and does not give up as many homers.
Perez is 5-4 with a 4.09 ERA and 60 strikeouts. I would not pick Boston to cover on the run line in this contest because the games have been very close. However, I like them to win in a tight matchup. The combination of Rafael Devers and Xander Bogaerts at the plate is deadly, and Minor will realize this on Wednesday night. This game is also a great over selection because many runs have been scored in the first two games.
Oakland Athletics Over the Texas Rangers
The Oakland Athletics are one of the best teams in the American League West with the Houston Astros. I do not believe the team will win the division, but they will likely receive a Wild Card bid to the postseason.
On the other hand, the Texas Rangers are not a great club because they are undergoing a rebuild. The Rangers need a lot of help. They did beat Oakland in game one of the series by a 5-4 margin. Although, this win was mainly thanks to two Joey Gallo home runs which pushed the A’s to victory. The Athletics are 25-19 at the Oakland Coliseum, and Chris Bassitt will help make the club 26-19 after Wednesday evening. Bassitt has been one of the most reliable pitchers on the staff. He is 8-2 on the season with a 3.25 ERA and 102 strikeouts. When Bassitt is on the bump, the Athletics expect to win. He must neutralize the big bats of Joey Gallo and Adolis Garcia.
This is likely considering Gallo has been very inconsistent in 2021. If Gallo does not hit, Garcia is not strong enough to win on his own.
Toronto Blue Jays Over the Seattle Mariners
The Toronto Blue Jays are in the hunt for the American League East title, with the Yankees falling apart. The Blue Jays have one of the most exciting teams in the league, and it showed against the Mariners on Tuesday.
The squad beat Seattle by a 9-3 margin on Tuesday thanks to five RBI from Marcus Semien and a three-run homer from Bo Bichette. Steven Matz will pitch for Toronto, and he has the advantage over Justus Sheffield for the Mariners. Although, this game is all about the offense and the Blue Jays are dominant compared to the Mariners. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is slashing .344/.446/.685 with 26 home runs. The Blue Jays are out hitting the Mariners by 49 average points, and they have scored 72 more runs.
The Blue Jays will roll to an easy win on Thursday.
