NFL Week 15 Best Bets

It’s time for another edition of our National Football League Betting Picks. There is no sports league like the National Football League. The primetime games last weekend were incredible, and no favorite is safe right now in this league. The Patriots were big underdogs, and won. The Giants were big underdogs, and won, and the Titans were nearly 16 point underdogs and won in Miami. Only the Cowboys on Sunday Night took care of business. Let’s turn our attention to Week 15:
Los Angeles Chargers +3 over Las Vegas Raiders
The Thursday Night Football game contains a pair of 5-8 teams from the AFC West. It’s Easton Stick against Aidan O’Connell. Justin Herbert will miss the rest of the season. The Chargers are likely playing their final few games with Brandon Staley at the helm. If Los Angeles is smart at all, they will get Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen going early, and going often. Those are the best two athletes on the field, with the expectation of Davante Adams on the other end. With Josh Jacobs out for the Raiders, we side towards the team with better skill players. That is the Chargers. Take Los Angeles as the underdog!
Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 over Minnesota Vikings
This is going to be Jake Browning against Nick Mullens. The Vikings are in trouble. They face a tough stretch of games, and with the health of Justin Jefferson back in question, not sure they have enough. The Vikings won last week, despite scoring just three points. They will not shut out Cincinnati. The Bengals have looked good with Browning under center, and are utilizing Ja’Marr Chase. This is the first game on Saturday, and we expect it to be a good one for the home team. Take the Bengals to beat the Vikings by a touchdown or more to open the day of games on Saturday.
Indianapolis Colts -2.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers
Another game with a ton on the line. The Colts and Steelers are both 7-6. So are four other teams in the AFC wildcard chase. The Colts struggled last week, but Pittsburgh is coming off back to back horrific games. Pittsburgh is using Mitchell Trubisky under center, and have not been able to run the ball. The Colts are not very good defensively, but will be food enough to beat up on a sputtering offense. Indianapolis wins the middle game at home on Saturday and moves into a better spot in the AFC playoff picture.
Atlanta Falcons -3 over Carolina Panthers
The Falcons, Saints and Buccaneers are all tied at 6-7 on the season. The winner gets the divisional title, and a date against either the Eagles or Cowboys. At Least it would be a home game. For Carolina, their one win may be the only one they get this season. Carolina has shown no signs of improving the last couple weeks. Atlanta needs to use Bijan Robinson early, and often. If they do, they should have good success moving the football. Despite being on the road, this game belongs to the Falcons. Bet Atlanta over Carolina on Sunday.
Los Angeles Rams -6.5 over Washington Commanders
The Commanders are coming off their bye, but the Rams are hungry. Despite the loss last week, the Rams looked good in Baltimore. Los Angeles is fighting for a playoff spot, and being well coached, they are going to be ready for anything Washington throws at them. With four wins, the Commanders are in a prime spot to not win any more games, and come away with a really nice looking draft pick. Matthew Stafford on the road? Matthew Stafford in the cold in December? Matthew Stafford wins and covers!
Baltimore Ravens -3 over Jacksonville Jaguars
The Ravens can smell the top seed in the AFC. Home field advantage. But, first, they have a tough final four games of the season. First things first, a road trip to Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence played, but was not himself. The AFC South is about to get really interesting, as the Jaguars lose their third straight games. The Ravens keep the top spot in the AFC and win on the road on Sunday Night Football.
Others to Consider:
-
Buffalo Bills -2.5 over Dallas Cowboys - What a game. The Bills are back to finding ways. Basically must win situations.
-
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3.5 over Green Bay Packers - The Packers loss on Monday Night Football was just a killer for them. Tampa with a chance to move to .500!
-
San Francisco 49ers -13.5 over Arizona Cardinals - the 49ers should be able to name their final score in this game.
-
Philadelphia Eagles -4 over Seattle Seahawks - Pete Carroll and his Seahawks look like they are too beat up to give a final fight for the 2023 season.
There you go. Enjoy the games. Good luck with your Christmas Shopping and let’s play some football!
