2023 NFC Divisional Title Betting Odds
Last week, we brought the AFC divisional odds for each of the four divisions. Now, it’s time to break down the NFC and take a look at the odds.
NFC East
- Philadelphia Eagles -135
- Dallas Cowboys +195
- New York Giants +900
- Washington Commanders +1300
The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending NFC Champions. This is their division to lose. Jalen Hurts is a front-runner to compete with Patrick Mahomes for the MVP of the league. DeAndre Swift is in as the lead running back in Philadelphia.
The Dallas Cowboys recently added Trey Lance as their backup quarterback, but Dak Prescott is still the key to this team. A healthy and effective Dak is scary for the rest of the league. No Ezekiel Elliott, but Dallas has all the confidence in the world in Tony Pollard.
The New York Giants reached the playoffs a season ago and did it in quiet fashion. Saquon Barkley is back and ready to play motivated. This should be an interesting team.
Washington is not bad but has long odds of taking down the division. The world will get to see the talent of Sam Howell on display. The Commanders will also give us a chance to see a full and heavy dose of Brian Robinson. The talented running back is poised for a huge 2023.
NFC North
- Detroit Lions +140
- Minnesota Vikings +290
- Chicago Bears +380
- Green Bay Packers +400
The NFL world is ready to see the Detroit Lions finally make a name for themselves. The name needs to be positive instead of the negative term the Lions have been for decades. Jared Goff has weapons and plans to use them. Can the Lions compete on the defensive side?
Minnesota is the defending divisional champion. The Vikings are still talented but have lost some pieces, and many are expecting regression to hit them hard in 2023.
The Bears have Justin Fields, and many around the National Football League feel he is due to be an MVP candidate in 2023. Chicago, with the addition of D.J. Moore and other pieces, looks to have the ability to score a little more this season.
Aaron Rodgers is gone for the Packers, but during the preseason, we saw a pretty solid Jordan Love. Will the Packers surprise people? Green Bay at 4/1 odds may not be a bad option here for bettors who are unsure what happens in the NFC North.
NFC South
- New Orleans Saints +105
- Atlanta Falcons +200
- Carolina Panthers +500
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers +1000
Someone has to win this division. The Saints are the team projected. Dennis Allen brought Derek Carr over to lead the offense. He will have weapons in Michael Thomas and Chris Olave. Alvin Kamara will sit early on, but a big boost was grabbing Jamaal Williams in the off-season.
Atlanta will start young on the offensive side. Quarterback Desmond Ridder and running back Bijan Robinson are going to eventually be a problem for the league. Whether that is 2023 or not, we will soon find out.
The Carolina Panthers are 5/1 odds to win the division. That seems like a decent bet to make for a team with Miles Sanders and Adam Thielen added, along with a rookie quarterback with a ton of talent - in Bryce Young.
The Buccaneers lost Tom Brady and will be looking to pick up the pieces in 2023.
NFC West
- San Francisco 49ers -190
- Seattle Seahawks +230
- Los Angeles Rams +1000
- Arizona Cardinals +3500
The 49ers had some quarterback drama but have moved on from Trey Lance. The 49ers sent him to Dallas and will now see Brock Purdy get the start behind center. Purdy has a ton of weapons. It will be interesting to see how the defense adjusts this season, but overall, this is a talented football team.
Seattle is the dark horse here. Geno Smith was pretty good a season ago, and no one is discussing it. Now, he has not only his top two targets but another talented receiver from the draft brought on. The Seahawks will need to figure out the run game to be as effective as they want.
The Rams seem to have plenty of problems, and now Matthew Stafford apparently cannot vibe with the youngsters. Sean McVay has a bunch of youngsters, so the season in Los Angeles could be a long one.
Arizona is the biggest underdog in all of the National Football League. The Cardinals are not going to win very many games in 2023.
There it is! A wrap on the NFC. We are excited for the start of the National Football League. Best of luck with all your betting, and enjoy the games!
